Please join Global Ambassador for Southeast Asia, Heerraa Ravidran, for a screening of “Wanted: Shades of Life” and Q&A with the documentary director.

“Wanted: Shades of Life ft. Genkeswaran Muniyan” shared the untold story of how an ex-convict transformed into the South East Asian Games Bronze Medalist for Chess in 2013. A journey of struggles and triumphs, this feature documentary explores the redemption and life that shaped a nation’s hero. This documentary gained international acclaim after winning “Best Inspirational Film” (Los Angeles Film Awards, USA 2022) and “Top 30 Films of the Year” (Filmmakers Connect Awards, USA 2023), amongst many other accolades from film festivals in France, Germany, Greece, Sweden. This screening is followed by an interactive Q&A session with the biopic’s director, Sanadtkumar Ganesan, and the SEA games champion himself, Genkeswaran Muniyan.
