Shirley Greene (she/her)
Senior Associate Dean of Student Affairs

Dean Greene joined the DCE community in Fall 2011. As the Senior Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Shirley is focused on strategizing with her team to engage and empower students. Her primary goal as a Harvard administrator has been to create an environment where learners feel challenged, engaged, and valued. She also tries to instill in students a deep curiosity that transcends the classroom and strengthens the skills necessary for critical thinking and life-long learning.

Emily Walsh (she/her)
Director of Student Success & Support

Emily joined OSA in Spring 2023. As the Director of Student Success & Support, Emily oversees coaching, tutoring, and student support programs for DCE. Emily can answer any questions you have about time management and balancing life with academics, as well as who to go to for more academic support in your courses. Emily is passionate about dedicating her days to the intellectual transformation of Harvard students through her work in DCE.

Jeremy Weinberg (he/him)
Associate Director of Student Affairs

Jeremy joined the OSA staff in Spring 2023. As Associate Director of Student Affairs, Jeremy helps to answer and direct student questions related to academic and cocurricular resources, personal and professional skill development opportunities, and general student policies. He enjoys connecting with others and utilizing strategic questions in order to motivate and guide students and colleagues toward solutions and success.

Billie Pingree

Billie Pingree (she/her)
Student Engagement Coordinator

Billie joined the OSA in Spring 2024. As Student Engagement Coordinator, Billie works to cultivate a sense of community and belonging for students through skill development initiatives and social events. She works closely with student organizations and student leadership positions to enhance opportunities for global connection. You will also see Billie at Active Learning Weekend Socials throughout the year! Billie is passionate about crafting programming that is both academically/professionally relevant and socially meaningful.

Cynthia LĂȘ (she/her)
Student Engagement Support

Cynthia joined the OSA in the Fall of 2023. Hailing from Canada, she is currently a student at the Harvard Graduate School of Education for Education Policy and Analysis with a concentration in Identity, Power, and Justice Education. Cynthia is also a classically trained musician, which has informed her exploration of the intersection between justice and the arts. Cynthia is excited to connect with members of the DCE community, help folks find resources to enhance their academic experience and support individuals in their learning journey.
