Students working on group work using sticky notes and concept maps.

Accountability hours provide a space for students to set realistic short-term goals, work on communication skills and help build a sense of community.

When you are part of a virtual accountability group it can help you stay focused on your goals and take action on them in a set amount of time.  Accountability groups are run by our Student Success Coaching team and provide structure, help students to set realistic deadlines, and develop habits that can carry over to other areas of their life.

Joining one of the Student Success Accountability Hours provides a sense of commitment to work alongside peers. Students often work on different assignments and share a short manageable goal that they can complete within the allotted time.  Accountability Hours also help students confront procrastination and help students who may be having a hard time focusing.

Virtual Accountability Hours are held Tuesday-Thursday from 3pm-4pm (ET)starting Tuesday, July 2-Thursday, August 8. Advanced sign-up is required, and space is limited to 10 students.

If you need assistance or have additional questions, please email the Office of Student Success and Support or stop by our table Monday’s 12:00pm-1:00pm (ET) in Annenberg Hall.
